Billington's Electrical are an independent firm based in Preston, specialising as an electric household appliance, accessory and parts dealer and electrical repair service. We've been here for over three decades, since Tony Billington started an electrical repair service through a 'hole in the wall' in 1972. He branched out almost immediately into retail of household appliances, stocking one Morphy Richards iron.

Since then, we've expanded from the original property at 267 Ribbleton Lane to include a large electrical household appliance retail shop area fronting our electrical repair service workshop, stores and offices. We opened our second branch in Garstang, Lancashire, in 1996. It is now an integral part of the market town community, and continues our association with the locality - Tony was born there and his wife Kate ran a market stall there for over a decade before eventually deciding that she would prefer a roof and walls. We are still a predominantly family-run business, and we still keep Tony and Kate busy.

Billington's Electrical has continually evolved over the last thirty years, as technology and changing trends have dictated. We 've taken on board dealerships for many manufacturers over the years, winning Braun's Service Agent Of The Year and the SEAMA Service Dealer Of The Year awards on the way. We carry out in-home repairs on heating. We do all the repairs for Boots stores in the north west, and we've recently expanded into the audio-visual market. We are also the sole spare parts and repairs agent for Remoska cookers, and of course we have a new website.

This is the third generation of billingtonelec.co.uk, which started life as a simple contacts page way back in the early days of the web. In 2000, we incorporated online ordering for Kenwood kitchen appliances and accessories. 2005 saw the launch of our all new site, with secure online ordering for our full range of electric household appliances, spare parts and accessories, including all you need for shavers, vacuum cleaners, food preparation and a whole lot more. As from October 16th 2006, we have moved all our business to our Garstang branch, bringing to an end nearly 35 years on Ribbleton Lane. The website is obviously unaffected by this, as is our email address info@billingtonelec.co.uk, but please note the new address for contact and repairs is Billington's Electrical, 16a High Street, Garstang, PR3 1FA. We will continue to provide the same good service, all the same repairs and spares and products that we have become known for. The only change in our operation is that we will be 10 miles further north.

A free collection and delivery service in PR1, PR2 & PR3 areas will be available for service to Kenwood Chefs, vacuum cleaners, microwaves, iron systems and other large appliances, and we will continue to carry out in-home service on non-portable heating appliances.
